Henri Bendel is the exclusive retailer of fragrances created by Mandy Aftel (a perfumer specializing in all natural fragrances). Bendel's invited Aftel to hold an exhibition to showcase her collection of artifacts and perfumes in their 5th Avenue store. Going beyond the typical prints on a wall, the exhibit was designed to maximize the limited space to create a whimsical forest that instantly separated the exhibition from the store. The forest also features various natural ingredients that Aftel uses. The mark is a uniquely hand-crafted, the timelessness of the mark pay homage to the artifacts in Aftel's collection.
